Visit of the Philippine Delegation to SIA 2026
A high-level delegation from the Philippines, led by the Secretary of Agriculture, Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr, and the Administrator of the National Dairy Authority (NDA), Marcus Antonius Andaya, participated in SIA 2026 (Salon International de l'Agriculture -held in Paris-) for strategic exchanges on agricultural and dairy sector development.
Discussions focused on the FASEP project led by Phylum, in collaboration with French partners including SERAP, IDELE, CRD, KUHN and COOPEX. The project supports the NDA strategy to strengthen milk production and processing capacities in the Philippines.

A field visit was organized in Mayenne with the participation of Anaïs Redissi (consultant at Phylum), and members of the delegation to showcase French expertise in methanization and waste management at CRD, milk cooling technologies at SERAP, and practical applications on a dairy farm to demonstrate the added value of these solutions.
The delegation also visited SEMMARIS at Rungis, hosted by Timothée Witkowski, to exchange best practices on wholesale market management. The Department of Agriculture of the Philippines aims to develop wholesale market infrastructure to enhance food supply security and expand export opportunities. Phylum is collaborating with SEMMARIS on food safety management initiatives.
