OIE - Animal Health coding system

The OIE chose Phylum to help it developping an international animal disease coding system.

Based on its experience in the development of computerized data exchange systems in the field of animal health and the coding of messages with UNCEFACT (e.lab), Phylum was selected by the OIE (World Organization for Animal Health) for the development of an international system for coding animal health data. The first issue is the reporting of animal health information in a safer and more precise manner by member countries. However, this system could also be used in the long term to secure the exchange of animal health data in other contexts (international trade, regional policies, etc.).
