An operational guide to dairy cow welfare for dairy farmers
As part of the Danone Ecosystem Fund's animal welfare programme, Phylum, with the contribution of a group of experts from CIWF, IDELE, Vetagro Sup, and SNGTV has written an operational and evolving guide on the welfare of dairy cows for farmers and their technicians.
Organised in the form of technical sheets from which one can pick and choose according to one's needs, This tool is intended to be as practical as possible, able to evolve according to new knowledge and feedback from the field.
It will help to support producers in their good practices and will provide operational answers.
As part of the programme, 2000 copies have been printed and distributed to all Danone's partner producers in France, as well as to their technical partner organisations.
