Phylum supports the SVEPM annual congress on veterinary epidemiology

We are sponsoring the annual conference of the Society of Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine (SVEPM), which is held in Toulouse from 22 to 24 March.

It was obvious that we would support this event. It is organized by the Veterinary epidemiology team (EPIDESA) of the National Veterinary School of Toulouse (ENVT), with whom we regularly collaborate. In our missions, we use methods from veterinary epidemiology, whether it is to consider risks in the definition of development strategies for animal sectors, the development of "One Health" public policies or the prevention and management of animal health and welfare risks or food safety.

This year, the conference highlights important topics around the "One Health" approach to surveillance and control diseases, and the economic impact of diseases with the work of GBADs (Global Burden of Animal Diseases)

François Gary and Chloé Le Gall-Ladevèze are present to enrich our contacts with the research teams working on these topics.
