PVS Orientation Training Workshop in Abu Dhabi – 19 - 22 September 2022

Phylum has participated to the PVS Orientation training organized by the WOAH (World Organisation for Animal Health) for Veterinary Services of the Arabic Peninsula countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates - UAE, and Yemen)

Dr François GARY has shared his expertise and long experience of the PVS pathway. The objective of the PVS pathway is to strengthen the capacity of the Veterinary Services to comply with the International standards (the WOAH Codes).

The Veterinary Services have an important role in this region face to the specific challenges : large quantity of live animals and animal products imported, development of sustainable model for the livestock production to ensure a minimum of food security in the context of global warming, One Health issues like MERS-Cov in a region which is a World's hub...

This workshop should encourage these countries to be more committed in the PVS pathway.
