Development of a dairy industry in Kurdistan

After two decades of neglecting agriculture in Kurdistan, which made the region totally dependent on imports, large companies decided to develop agricultural industries with the encouragement of the government.

Phylum has been studying the feasibility of a dairy industry in the governorate of Sulaymānīyah. If the potential of this mountainous and fertile region is certain, the challenges will be important: transfer of know-how, reconquering a market often occupied by low cost products.
In line with its know-how transfer strategy, Phylum will mobilize the necessary skills for an important project in a region that needs to create a diversified and job-creating economy.
